I read liar game on mangareader. In fact I read everything on mangareader.net besides stuff that's on mangastream.
As far as shoneny feel good typical action mangas go, I just prefer Beelzebub and Code: Breaker over Naruto/Bleach etc.
I've heard good things about Hunter x Hunter, as well as Fullmetal Alchemist, but I haven't gotten into them.
I plan on starting One Piece when it's finished, although it'll take a while for me to get through it all.

Yes, the biggest selling manga in history that often outsells Naruto and Bleach combined is obviously the worst of the lot. Consistent characterisation, competent pacing, distinctive art style, excellent action, great plot, all clearly count for nothing.
Sure, it probably isn't going to be finished for another 8 years at least, but it's well past the halfway point now. All the necessary backstory and foreshadowing is in place, we just need the players to make their moves and it will kick off big style.
Seriously people, read this series!

It's just another standard action themed Shonen.

It's about as significant as why prisoners are stripped of their names and given numbers. Names are generally important identifiers as self and acknowledge the person as an individual rather than an object.
