Wi-Fi Connection Set Up

This is a handy guide if people are struggling setting up their Wi-Fi connection.

1. Check to make sure you have High Speed internet. (Dial-up isn't a from of high speed internet)

2. If you do, you must have a modem, and if you have a modem, chances are you have a wireless router. These items are key to settting up your connection. Expecially the router.

3. Make sure your router supports Nintendo Wi-Fi by browsing though this site

4. Turn your DS on and proceed to the Pokemon screen. (or anyother game your playing that is supported by wi-fi)

5. There should be an option instead of starting the game that says "Nintendo Wi-Fi Settings" Go into there.

6.You should be brought tot a screen that has 2 options. Settings and Nintendo Wi-Fi settings. Choose Nintendo Wi-Fi settings.

7.Click connection 1 assuming you don't have anyother connections.

8.Now click, search for an access point. This enables the DS to search for a connection in your area. This may take a moment.

9. The list of available connections will pop-up. Try to choose a connection that is unlocked. You can tell if a connection is unlocted if it has a blue lock that is unlocked. If you dont have a unlocked connection follow the rest of the steps. If you have an unlocked connection, guess what? You're ready to play!

For locked connections only

Since I don't feel like wasting my life, this site can help if you have an locked connection
