Why you should only have 40 cards in a Deck

EXCEPT perhaps in a deck like gadgets, where drawing a gadget will hurt you. in that case, since gadgets run so many similar cards, i see it perfectly fine to bump it to 42 to prevent from drawing into a gadget.

40 is best. Period. LS should run 40. Gadgets should run 40.

a) what "necro"ing a topic is.
b) draw ratios. Do you remember a few years ago when 5th Gadget grapeed japan's meta? I do. Do you remember how many cards that deck ran? and why?

And no I don't. I wasn't playing back then and I don't want to know, that deck would lose horibly to anything now

Please tell me what a mod would do when this topic gets reported. They wouldn't delete it, as its one of the best articles etc has ever seen. They wouldn't lock it, bc despite the random necros it gets, it continues to be a viable discussion. Maybe they move it to articles archives, but even then that method fails to point #2. So what would reporting it do other than waste the time of the mods?
And btw, 5th gadget wrecked the meta by running 45 cards, just to preserve draw ratios.
It was the gadget deck's most prominent time, and it ran more than 40.

regardless, lets get back to being on topic.
I personally cant run more than 40 (ocd i guess) in a deck unless I can rationalize it, like I can in LS or gadgets.

Doesn't mean forty isn't the most rational way to do it.
