Oh, come on, don't we have enough of this. I mean, console wars pop up even in topics with no connection to it. And it's the same arguments over and over, only slightly modified/enhanced with new info.

I say again, the best time to accurately compare consoles is at the end of their lives, when total sales, returns, encountered errors and complete game libraries (etc.) can be scrutinised, rather than now, when all this info is still unknown.

xbox 360.
Way better supported than PS3 right now, has a year's head start, better tech. than Wii, already has some great games and more to come—halo 3 and gears of war.
Good online support, though it costs money, and on most shooters it allows multiple people to go online with 2-4 ppl on one xbox.

Well as I stated in the other topic. Wii60 all the way. X360 > Wii > PS3. Not because I am rooting for my fav.

-Ninety Nine Nights
-Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion
-Gears of War
-Rainbow Six: Vegas
-Dead Rising

-F.E.A.R.

Wii:
-Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess
-Wii Sports ( maybe )

PS3:
-Resistence: Fall of Man
-Mobile Suit Gundam: Crossfire ( because I am a die hard Gundam fan )
-Ridge Racer 7 ( maybe )

Now If I look till the end of this year line up of games. I will have 12 X360 games, 2 Wii, and 3 PS3. ( now before you jump on me about launch titles I know at least 4 of the X360 titles were Launch titles.) Now in the next year I would have 20 X360 games, 7 Wii games, and 7 PS3 games. Not counting mulit platform. Now as a consumer I would see what my options are and my investments. X360 cost me $500 and with 20 games by end of '07. I look at that and say That a good deal and $500 wont be to costly for me. Now I would look at the Wii. $250 price tag with 7 games by end year of '07. 5 of which I now that I will like base on previous games ( Zelda, SSB, Mario , MP ). 7 games for $250 game console with games I can get from the old NES up to GCN. I see that it is worth the price. Now to the PS3. A $600 game price tag with 7 games and a possible 9 games wanted with backwords compatibity with PS1 and PS2 games. Hmm bit on the expensive site for just possible 9 games and not sure I would like. Maybe I will wait on that one untill '08 and see what coming then. I can last with the X360 and Wii untill then. Now Sony just lost my purchase till '08 (unless I just got it for the games out already ). Then most likely I would buy the 2 multi platform games for the X360. Looking at what money I have now and investments for me it would benefit me now to get a PS3.

Now this is all my thoughts as a consumer and a gamer based on games that I like.

Right now, I'm not sure. The 360 could continue it's lead, the PS3 could actually become worth the money, and the Wii could blow everyone away, like the DS. I am voting Wii though, because it has the most titles I want.

As I've said before, in the long run, Wii>360>PS3

I hate when people say 360 is better because it has bigger library of games. The 360 has been out for a year, while Wii and PS3 have been out for a week. Give it some time and the Wii will surpass the 360.

The Wii has Zelda, thats a great adventure game. 360 and soon PS3 has Oblivion, a great RPG/fantasy.

Yeah That why I chose X360. It has a lot more titles I want. Which was a big surprise as last gen the PS2 had more titles I want then the Xbox.

On its release it released an AAA title, which is pretty damn impressive. Not to mention how well games like Madden 07 and Wii Sports play, also its virtual console is going to be great.
