You also proved that the size tags don't work. I don't like it. I'm not doing anything "to you guys". I dislike it A LOT. I don't see the benefits in upgrading to it to be honest, but you guys can do what you want. I'm being honest and getting bashed on for it.

Size tags aren't a make or break thing, in my humble opinion. What about the size tags makes you think they are so invaluable?

Because believe it or not, IPB 3.0 is a LOT uglier than you claim vB is, I can guarantee you that.

Bobby, a lot of us are sick of the IPS errors. We obviously can't keep hobbling around on whatever archaic version of IPB we're on right now. Compromise with us instead of outright saying this is a horrible idea. ETC will NOT turn into Pojo just because we use the same board.

I never said it's a horrible idea, I said I prefer IPB to this. I always have, the version DuelistGroundz uses has been fine, no problems, no IPS Errors, and it's just pretty much awesome. I dislike vB, I like to do layouts on decks, and all the layouts use the [size=1] tags, same with war layouts, etc. I like the layout of the forum now, I like how the posts look, how the topics look, etc.

But that's just the opinion of one member, I don't hold any influence in comparison to the dozens of you who strongly believe vB is better, I can't prevent it, but I CAN voice my opinion.

You know me better than this Shadow, I don't mindlessly agree like the rest of the sheep on ETC, I always liked voicing my opinion.

In all honesty, I prefer IPB to vB, but there's two things that want me to switch:

1. The board errors will be virtually gone. If members can view the board without having to refresh twenty times, then it's worth it.

2. IPB is headed nowhere. They have made a new type of board that replicates some of vB's features but is still poorly designed and it will likely stay that way for a while.

Also, add reply and the rest of the icons can be changed. I don't know why you think they're not customizable.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but ETC is much bigger and on an older server than DGZ, am I right?

I still don't see the [size] tags being such a huge drawback, but I'll agree to disagree with you on that.

31,290 total. Comparisons to dgz aren't really relevant though. Our first and foremost priority is to end the board instability, and that is what we will do. Not only have IPS errors been happening, but people have their passwords "altered" and unable to be recovered unless I manually change them, which is another big issue.

DuelistGroundz auto-deletes members who aren't active for 2-3 years. And the staff does a lot of cleaning, so I'd say it doesn't make a huge difference tbh[/b]

In the end, though, the state of DuelistGroundz has very little to do with us converting to vBulletin.
