The software migration (vBulletin) will be going down tonight. For those of you who have no idea what that means... I'll put it in easy to understand bulletpoints!

• The forums will be offline starting from about 6pm pacific time (PST). Depending on how long the conversion takes, it'll be back up shortly after
• If you haven't already heeded the warning we had up for a month about email addresses, make sure the email address you have entered for your ETC account is accurate and you can log in to it
• We'll have a lot of new stuff to play with when we're done

I know you mentioned that PM's should be safe, but will any posts get lost in the transition???

Posts will be carried over, no worries.

The only things that will be lost are profile pictures (if you still have one), avatars (probably), you'll need to fix your signatures after, any profile information you'll have to add back, and that's the brunt of what will affect members. You'll also need to go through your settings in your usercp when you login for the first time and enable PMs and VMs (Visitor Messages) and other settings accordingly; Haru may query PMs to be turned on so that depends.

ETC's got a large database (about 1.5GB in total), so it depends. It'll probably take all night for the migration of the posts and so on, and then even more time for us to get everything set up in terms of settings and so on. So I dunno, it just depends.
