Was/is losing your virginity a big deal to you? Should it be? Why? How did/should it happen (without posting any banalities, please) ? Did/do you regret (not) waiting?

It's not a huge deal to me that I'm still one, and if it DOES make you feel inferior to the human race or whatevs, I suggest you go visit /a/ (sometime /v/ as well). I feel more of a loser not ever kissing a girl or holding hands or any of that than not having sex with a girl.

I would prefer to lose it to someone I have deep feelings for, but that's a white knight pipe dream and things just happen sometimes.

No, I didn't see it as a big deal at all. I think people put a lot importance into it for no reason, especially guys being able to brag about getting laid. The first time was kind of awkward and very painful, and not romantic and magical and whatever at all. And it was like that the next few times too, I was like holy crap why do people do this? I don't regret not waiting, because all in all it wasn't a big deal to me. I didn't wake up the next day and feel like a different person just because I'd had sex, I was still the exact same person but with more thing I'd experienced along the way. Unless you fck up, sex is not a life changing matter.

It's made to be a much bigger deal then it is. Your first time is going to be awkward and if your a girl hurt (i didn't feel pain it was just awkward).

It was a very big deal for me. I've only ever done it with one girl, and we did rush into it, we just kissed alot on the dates beforehand and decided to just go for it, to this day thats the only time I've had sex. I did feel annoyed about doing it so early, and I do regret it.

The only thing virginity practically defines is the first time you have sex.
Most anything else you believe you lose is all on the psychological end of things.
I lost mine rather arbitrarily but don't care.
I regret more so the choice of girl than the action.
