So guys, recently there was a widely reported "confirmed" ban list that was spreading around. Now we know from Shriek that that list is, for the most part, correct. However, Kevin Tewart threw a plot twist.

does this mean TCG and OCG list are the same O_0. dammit
Not necessarily. In general I'm avoiding the hysteria, just like I avoided the discussion of all those lists the past week that were "100% guaranteed" and - surprise! - aren't the same as this new "100% guaranteed" list.

The question was by some guy, and the reply was by Kevin Tewart.

Another post by him:

I imagine some people are upset because they dumped certain cards due to the "100% guaranteed" lists that started circulating a week ago.

As opposed to people who are dumping cards right now because of a new "100% guaranteed" list.

Heh.

Frankly, we as yugioh players don't know what to believe anymore. The people who were "officially" informed of the banlist are apparently wrong, and the people who were "unofficially" informed don't know either. The TCG banlist will go out on August 20th on yugioh-card.com/en, and ETC will of course have it on here as soon as possible.

If you wish to discuss these changes further, please do so in this thread.
