Winner seems pretty cool, 3 card OTKs ftw. Didn't know of the card either ;o

Needle Worm would be epic though

HOLY FREAKING HELL someone actually found a way to OTK with Mill again and it didn't even require Morphing Jar. O.o

That is one SICK combo w/ Morphing Jar #2. Its so great to see my favorite card still has potency in it. Congrats to both winners.
Let them eat their damn cake.

Was that first deck consistent, which I think was a criteria? I think there could be a few better picks, but it is a cool concept, seems like it could've won the creativity but idk.

How original were the decks people sent in?

I agree with this. The second one doesn't seem like it would OTK as much as it's built to. It could've been done better. :/ Did you guys test these?

But congrats none the less.

I doubt they tested the decks. Although very creative, the winner deck is VERY inconsistent

I would have preferred another booster set, where cards like Honest, Charge & Darklord Zerato were ultras (NOT short print), and where a bunch of starter deck only commons like Foolish Burial, Dimensional Alchemist, Hysteric Party & Malevolent Catastrophe were rares & supers. Then of course you'd add a bunch of non-broken ocg only cards, as well as a few exclusives that help themes like Crystal Beasts, Archfiends & Cloudians.

Edit - Did I mention that every reprint would have alternate artwork & something like a tip card that you could mail in all 5 different ones to get a never before seen alternate win condition card that's half way between doomed to fail & having potential?

Yes they did you moron. Why do you think it took them so long to post the results of a contest that ended in September?

I just built the deck on world championship 2009 and got the loop off one time out of ten games. As original as it is, I dont think that it makes up for the clear lack of consistency which is why I was concerned how a deck that is so clearly inconsistent won this contest.

You really aren't one to be judging quality, just sayin'

http://forums.yugioh...ost__p__1408447

Explains it all. I know at least 3 people were on YVD testing all of the decks (All 3 were YGO mods), so clearly they know what they are doing.

seems like it came out backwards. I saw a moprhotronics OTK @ my regionals, but the all-out attacks OTK looks pretty original (spare the fact i saw an article on it on wikia, and I kinda wanna try out the spear cretin version). Cool stuff. Did I make top 10? XD
