This game is starting off in Night 1
The game/Day 2 will officially start when enough people have confirmed, and I have received my three inspections.

-The game will officially start when everybody has confirmed

-During the day you can vote for a player that you think should be lynched. Votes must be bolded otherwise they won't be counted. It would be helpful if players unvote first before switching their votes.

-When a player reaches a majority of votes, they are lynched. I will reveal their role, and the game will move into night. All players can still talk during twilight. If there is no majority before 24 hours have passed, the person with the highest number of votes is lynched.

-No talking to other players, dead or alive, outside of the thread, unless your role permits it.

-Once dead, you stop posting. An unrevealing bah post is fine.

-If you have any questions, feel free to PM me, or AIM: Skuffter.

-Try to post at least once every 24 hours. Treat the game as a commitment.

-I'll try to post votecounts as often as possible. Feel free to ask for a votecount at any time by saying "@mod votecount".

-Have fun!

-If there's anything else I'll add it as we go.

Setup: 16 players
4 Mafia (1 is the corrupt cop)
12 Townies (1 is the sane cop, and 1 is the insane cop; 10 vanillas)

This game will play exactly like a regular in-thread mafia game, except during the night results, I tell you who the mafia killed and the results of three cop inspections.
There's a sane cop, an insane cop, and a corrupt cop (who is actually the 4th member of the mafia).
The sane cop's inspection results are correct. True result.
The insane cop's inspection results are incorrect. False result.
The mafia's inspection isn't really an inspection. They just make theirs up by sending me a name and a "result" and I post it with the other two results. Fake result.
The cop doesn't know if he's sane or insane, nor does the insane cop.
The cops aren't allowed to inspect themselves or claim that they're a cop in the thread.
If the player who is the mafia member who is the corrupt cop dies, that is revealed when I post his death, thus removing the fake result from the proceeding inspection postings.
But if the sane/insane cop dies, their sanity is not revealed. I'll stop posting their inspection result, thus leaving the town with the fake result, and a result they don't know the validity of for sure.
So, a typical night result will look like this:

"Night x is over.
The mafia killed _____(player's name). He was a _____.

Inspection results:
_____ is (townie/mafia).
_____ is (townie/mafia).
_____ is (townie/mafia).

It is now Day x, deadline is in 24 hours from now, etc."


Here are two examples of a night:

Player A is town, Sane cop inspects Player A, Player A is town. True.
Player B is mafia, Insane cop inspects Player B, Player B is town. False.
Player C is town, Mafia says Player C is mafia, Player C is mafia. False.

Player A is town, Insane cop inspects Player A, Player A is mafia. False.
Player B is mafia, Sane cop inspects Player B, Player B is mafia. True.
Player C is town, Mafia says Player C is mafia, Player B is mafia. False.

So you see how there will always be one that is true, but you don't know which one. And it's not like the first inspection I post will be the sane cop's inspection for both Day 1 and 2, I'll mix that up. And the mafia doesn't have to make their inspection false if they don't want to (if they want to mess with the town's heads a little, etc). How the town chooses to use the information is up to them, because the game plays exactly like a regular mafia (without an SK). It should be interesting I guess
