Sadly, I don't think he's joking folks. I think he and a few others believe this is a good option for ETC. I'm going to step on the box for a few minutes:

Fryza, this has to be the WORST post and also the STUPIDEST post I have seen you make in the six years I have known you on this site. This is elitism and egocentric at its highest levels and you know it. The quality of the boards have changed drastically since we joined, sure, but banning 95% of the site isn't the answer. Actually, banning ANYONE who isn't a trade ripper or a site spambot isn't the answer. I don't agree with the banning of Linkster, nor bherrel2, nor Da Jackal, nor anyone else we've placed a dunce cap on. Hell, I don't think we should even ban Amber R and she's starting pointless flame wars with people. I've learned a lot during my travels through the underworld of the Internet and I've learned something pretty valuable - you don't ban people just because you have the power nor do you ban them because of the way they act or their idiosyncrasies. Doing such makes you look like a pompous fool. And all of you who agree with him or CONTINUOUSLY bring up "the good ol' days" topics (you know who you are), you're no better than he is. You're being an elitist jerk by thinking just because you've been here longer than someone else gives you the divine right to be the authority on what's wrong on right on this site.

I have a proposition to counter Fryza's: I submit the idea of getting rid of the "Hall of Fame" group. None of you are any better than anyone else on this site nor will you ever be. The group just shrieks "LOOK AT ME, I USED TO DO THINGS. RESPECT ME". You should be on equal footing as the rest of us if you have no moderation or administrative powers. Again, this just boasts the idea that you're inherently more important than the average member when you are not. At all.

Dere....no, I don't have the right to call you by your name anymore. Fryza, if you continue to think this is a good idea and continue to push this, I will continue to oppose you and make sure this fails. I don't visit ETC often anymore, but it's a nice place to come back to and I don't want to be erased simply because some depressional philosophical fool who thinks eradication is the answer.

Btw, the mods don't make the members happy. If anything, we piss them off more than we make them happy (if even). That's like saying you like to be [non-fetish] handcuffed and read your rights.

you dont make members happy? well, I guess you dont have to to do your job, modding... but yes I thought this Fryza guy wasnt being serious, if he is well, haha. I put my 2 cents in because I wanted to, regardless of what I thought of the topic. I already said what I thought of the subject. If he wants to be an elitist and you guys choose to ban everyone and turn ETC into your own personal pool party for only "cool" people; I don't care, everyone will just go to another site. Wouldnt be the smartest thing you guys do... like I said, Don;t feed the troll machine.

I think we've all grown weary of your "Perfect Solution" proposition, and enough is enough. I mean It's one thing to propose something controversial that can actually be agreed upon and discussed over. But instead to propose such a horrendous Logical Fallacy, and actually think it should be considered isn't the least bit what this place needs at any given time.

I mean really one can only wishful think so far, but none of this really matters because already numerous times your argument as already been proven to be logically flawed. So I suppose it's going to end when your ready to yield to defeat?
