[Achilles]

Yep, it's my time to go. I have had a wonderful time on ETC since 04 and this site has always been a second home for me. I had left ETC once before when I was a global moderator, but back then I had only resigned my staff position and I really intended to come back in the future. It turned out to be two months in the future but that's not the point. This time I'm going to be going away forever. I'm sure I'll pop in sometimes and I hope I can visit from time to time but I'm ready to take my place as "old guy" and be gone. Maybe someday in the future, years later, I'll want to be active again. Who knows. For the foreseeable future, probably not.

As for why I'm leaving, I guess I'm just growing up. Yugioh doesn't interest me anymore, and even though I have some free time these days, I just don't have the spirit to put in 100% for ETC like I used to. Life is also pretty busy.

I really like everyone on the board. When I was a 11 year old trying to grow up and needed support, ETC was where I got it. Even in my teens I've learned a lot from this place due to the wonderful people I've met and the amazing things I've seen on here. Almost every member I've spoken with has impacted me in one way or another, and I thank everyone for that. I've also tried to return the favor and be a friend to anyone who needs a friend. If you ever want to talk to me, send me a PM for my e-mail, which I check pretty frequently.

That's about it. It's going to be hard to let go, but I think I'm ready. Best of luck to everyone in life - you are all wonderful people with bright futures. ETC is a great place and I encourage everyone to work towards making the board better and promoting it. We have a wonderful staff who really cares, and we have wonderful members who really care. Put 2 and 2 together and make something special happen.

You are the reason why I am still on ETC. Back when I first started on this site everyone hated me (now you just all put up with me) You were seriously one of the only people I could talk to. You helped me with yvd, yugioh, and helped me deal with things in life. You helped me with tons, and when I turn into an old orange on here I will always tell people that I wouldn't be here had Achilles not mold me into the member I am today.



You will be missed, more than you might even realize.

We didn't talk much but you were a cool dude. Even on dgz where everyone hated me you were always really chill to me. Goodluck with whatever it is you're pursuing to do. I think we're the same age so don't be surprised to see an e-mail from me asking for advise on school matters lol.

This honestly comes as a surprise to me, I just noticed that you no longer had the red admin lettering on the who's online list.

Anyway, it'll be really strange for you to go, since I remember you as Kakashi and when you were a Gmod, I was a noob to the site and game in general at that time and you were one of the first people I recognised as an active part of the community. As an admin you acted as the forefront of the 'senior' staff always making the announcements and really cared about the community.

It's sad to hear your leaving, but I respect your decision to leave and I hope that life will take you where you want to go. I will say on behalf of the ETC community that you can stop by if you're feeling down or just want to catch up with old folks and you will always be welcomed here.

Despite whatever the first impression may have been, due to the circumstances of your promotion to admin, I've never had a problem with you. You're a cool, really intelligent guy, and you did a lot to help this place. It's rare to find someone who will go all out, on even menial tasks such as this site (I'm certainly not one of them), and that will take you far down the road of life.

I know that our encounters have been brief at best, but I can definitely relate to this. Even with that being said, I've grown to have a solid respect for you, I hope you're able to make true with your intentions to resurface from time to time, and that life away in the real world serves you well.
