I think I've found a bit of a problem with the start dates of this contest, since a lot of people recieve games for christmas and might not have enough time to finish them before the Dec. 31 end date, robbing them of vital points. I think it would be a lot fairer if we changed the rules so that the start date is on Oct. 1st of the current year just when the christmas releases start to come out and ends on August 31st.

So rather than:

Start: 1st Jan 2010
End: 31st Dec 2010

It will be:

Start: 1st Oct 2009
End: 31st Aug 2010

Just a suggestion.
