I think this will be a good Side card once Blackwings start popping up even more than they already are.

And I believe there is already a topic, or two actually, on this card. (But with the Japanese Name as the title)

you could almost shut down a blackwing deck by having this out with a decree.

unless they manually summon their way to a non-blackwing synchro, but that's always a grind :P

This card doesnt like book of moon or spell-based destruction vs blackwings. Even so i'd pack 1-2.

Icarus/BoM mained. Side deck should also have stuff to handle it.
Also early non-BW synchro, but that won't happen as often.

It's still going to be an annoyance for them, a rather big one.

His Light hating Dark counterpart. Let's just hope Consecrated Light gets as much play as hype though.
Let them eat their damn cake.

If the deck is built right it's a medium annoyance at best.

Someone sided these on me earlier today.
It slowed me down from making some of the plays I wanted to make, but didn't kill me.
It did force out an Icarus Attack a bit earlier though.

Sure, it forces the use of a book or icarus, but it doesn't have near to the affect many players seem to think

Yea. It does serve as an annoyance, but then you must think you just sided a card into your deck a a mere annoyance when you could have had a much better one.

Maybe not, but the fact that it forces the opponent to make othewise bad plays to get rid of something that only cost me a summon/set (if that).

That is of course, unless they happen to run a monster without a Dark attribute that'll just attack over it.

What's better though?

There is no God-counter to BW like LIM was (To a degree) to LS. Nothing shuts them down individually. Drain, Oppression, SIM, etc. They can still function. Trap Hole only slows them really. There is nothing necessarily better.

This card is good against blackwings. It forces them to waste resources on your one card. This card is even better against Infernitys. although not sure on how much monster hate they run in their S/T. I'd assume alot.
