Reason I dont tend to push WiFi is because I hardly see interest here for WiFi type tournaments. If a bunch of WiFi people contacted me I would do more WiFi stuff and I want to.
I gotta see interest and I know 90% of ETC Pokemon players play on Shoddy. Though I will try and get some WiFi tournaments started as well but they probably wont be as frequent as the Shoddy Battle Tournaments.

To say that ,would imply there are no mediocre 12 year old on shoddy, is obviously not true....then again, the best players on shoddy only add to your loss record (damn you elevator music). I much rather see someone who has spent time ev training and some dedication (like at the pokemon VGCs were you HAVE too play 1st party) as apposed too the latter where its mostly number crunching and in head damage calcultions. At theh same time, one offers an easy out too someone who simply wants to play pokemon and the other offers you the story and gameplay, so they both serve their purpose.
The never ending argument continues..

Any worthwhile battle should involve number crunching and a good amount of prediction skill. Remember, the best player will win regardless of the medium. All that's different here really is the quality of the players and the time spent in order to be considered competitive.

Depends which meta your referring too...since OU has always been the same since last year, and UU and NU are in a state of flux. Dedication is important to me, cause I hate hackers...which are a dime a dozen nowdays thanks too Pokesav.
