Despite the following for Lightsworn, Zombies are the problem deck of the format (for both the TCG, and OCG).

I'd love to see Tsuku come back. It's a card that would be hyped at first and then wouldn't be run nearly as much as people think. It's not like any of the current top decks would run it.

Uh, no. When I can drop two 3000 ATK monsters with a Raigeki effect, a 2800 with special-summon stopping effect, and 1-2 Synchros over 2500 ATK, that's the problem deck of the format. There is no way you are surviving that even if it doesn't OTK you.

Need I repeat myself? Zombies are the most dominant archetype in the OCG, and it's been that way since before the TCG had Brionac. Pure Lightsworn doesn't see much play at all in the OCG, only the variants that abuse zombies and twilight builds make it to the top tables.

Sacksworn is certainly a high contender, but the recursion that Zombies have right now is unbelievable. What they can pull out of their ass with 2-3 cards in hand is absolutely sickening.

Lightsworn and Blackwings were already ruining the meta before Zombies found Diva and Brionac.

You're wrong, Zombies were already better than Blackwings.

Very true. At the last regional I attended, it was round 9 and my opponent and I were the only undefeated players left. I was using Lightsworn, he was using Zombies (keep in mind that this was back in October) and he destroyed me without much effort.

That's because Lightsworn is like 80% reliant on luck. Zombies take a little bit of thinking to play out but they're a lot more consistent.

And before Brionac, Zombies were still better than wings. Nothing can put as many huge monsters on the field so fast. =/

Not at the VERY beginning of the format (September/October). Blackwings (with Oppression and Vayu) and Lightsworn were pretty huge and you saw a rogue GB here and there with Necro Control. I didn't see Zombies come out of the woodwork until Brionac and Diva dropped.

Doesn't the vjump have pictures?
Or is it possible that they just change the format of their articles every year?

According to old post at shriek here,
http://shriek.twoday...s/Banned+Lists/

the list is consistently released every February 17-18.

now in regards to the post on page 1.....oddly why didn't the person scanned the magazine itself, he can go to a computer rental shop or his friends and scan it,

then all doubts about the list would have vanished,

still waiting for a valid scan at Shriek or Manjyomethunder ^^
