I concur.

You need something somewhat unique that doesn't leave people wondering what to call you. No random numbers. Max of 2 symbols (period, apostrophe, etc). At least 3 letters in your name should be real letters, not symbols that look like letters. No more than 2 syllables usually or people will shorten it.

I don't really know, not changing it often helps. I shortened mine to just Bonzai, since that's what everyone pretty much called me anyway.

Understated, memorable, unique in the sense that only you are known by that name(Achilles, Wit, Sean, Rurouni) are the more noticeable qualities.

Numbers at the end of your user-name = Fail in my opinion. Numbers being used in place of letters can be acceptable sometimes.
