The following sections have been removed.
Create a Card
Traditional Format
Ban/Forbidden List Discussion Subforum.
Yugioh Draft.

We will go back to the old way of having online teams. Rules will be updated shortly. We have also added a subforum for Decktype Discussion. Instead of posting "Official X-Saber Discussion" in the general section, all topics like this can be posted there.

The Weekly Tournaments will be coming back but this time the winner of each week will be put into his own usergroup with their own color and usergroup tag.

Also the Create a Card Contest will be ran out of the pinned thread in General Discussion now.

I like this, but I'm suggesting a fix so that we have a section for competitive deck discussion and then casual or developing competitive.

Alas, poor Yorick.

Why don't we just pin the most recognized tier 1 decks?

I was about to come here to suggest this. The main problem would be criterion but I'm sure we've got enough guys to work it out.

Pinning was a good idea, but the forum still feels really cluttered. I'm going to suggest something similar (yet less intricate) to what MTGS does with its deck forums.

http://forums.mtgsal...isplay.php?f=20

I feel that Deck Discussion is the number one priority for Yu-Gi-Oh TCG, as it's the most essential part of winning right now. Therefore, we should focus on improving the deck and deck discussion sections as much as we possibly can. We don't necessarily have to have individual sub-forums for each top deck, but it certianly would spark detailed discussions that wouldn't get lost in the pages of posts in larger topics. As the deck discussion is now, it's hardly possible to distinguish which decks are meant to be serious and which aren't. The pinning helps, but most of this forum's skins pin things in plumty ways so it's still confusing.

I think we should at least divide things up into subforums like: Competitive, Developing Competitive, and Casual. If we wanted to go further I don't think that individual subforums for each 'major' deck would be such a bad idea. Don't get me wrong, the changes we've made are really good, but I feel that while we're still changing things we might as well make sure everything is the best it can be.

Whilst this is a good idea, it wouldn't work. For a start, the extra categories would add to the clutter and not remove it. Secondly, you would get VERY few members in the 'casual' sections ect, it's okay for people to say "oh I'd go in it!" but I doubt any of the new-ish members would even step one foot in there, it'll become inactive and become another "Card of the Day" section. Lets face it, it won't work.

Changes are excellent though!

While I think most of the changes are fine, the only part I disagree with is getting rid of Create-a-Card as a whole. Yes, only rarely to people update their sets, but from my point of view, "Running" Custom Cards drew in a lot of creativity. (If I had permission and enough support, I'd start it back myself, but as a newb, I doubt I'd get either of those, especially the former.)

That being said, if you do to Running what you did to the Ban List discussion, that could still draw in creativity while not cluttering up the forum. But that's probably just me.
