1. I want to bring back OUTSIDE THREAD talking. -> PMing, and AIM/MSN. Thoughts? The reason why I want to do this is because its how we started playing in the first place on here, and by bringing it back, I hope to bring back the spark in this game.

2. If i allow this to happen, what kind of stipulations do you want to see? I am not sure if everyone is in favor of straight up no holds bar anything goes talking, so should i put some kind of restrictions like as to what you can say?

3. Also, a reminder, since we havent allowed it in so long: Mafia would not know their partners (or you will know some, but not all). Town would start with a huge advantage, yes, but the mafia will all have powers, and the town will not all have powers. However, I would like some more feedback on this.



What do you think.

I really want to go back to basics and bring back true investigative skills back into this, the way it used to be with the Paper Mario mafia, and the other games held by Bass, like the random roles (i was chef boyardee). I think yall will like what I am doing too. But i am not going to start the game unless i get full intrest and feedback to make it as good as it can be.



ALso, I am thinking of having a 16 person game, but if I really get a lot of interest ill move it up to 21 ppl.

But I cannot give every townie a good power, that would make it way too lopsided.

I'm digging this idea. I remember Ego's game and all though it was flawed the concept of the mafia not knowing each other added a whole new element.

this is how it started w/ bass.

The mafia was like.. 6 ppl

We knew the roles of 3 and we had to find them. I found Ein and the other dude.. then we had to find the other 3 wich we had no clue who they were.

Sure, but I'd prefer if some vanillas were in it. Useless powers are pretty annoying. Just use the big powers and that's it. OOTC is fine by me.

i was thinking about mafia the other day, and i wanted to see/think up a game that revolves around allowing ootc, but like it'd be a free for all instead of a teams thing. ootc, in that kind of game, would be cool as long as everybody understands that the name of the game is to watch your own ass and pick who to trust carefully, because making alliances will get you potentially far but not to the end, since only one person can win. idk how it would play out especially with a limited amount of active players, but anything is worth a shot at this point.

mafia not knowing each other sounds like it'd be interesting, i dont think i've ever played one like that

i was actually thinking of a game like this as well. I love the show survivor, and it would be cool if it were a free for all like that

This game is going to be completed today. I will hopefully have sign-ups ready for everyone this evening, or tomorrow. But, we will not start the game until monday - for weekend activity reasons.
