If by "messed something up" you mean that he did what needed to be done to help people like myself who aren't as tech'savvy, then sure.

Also (and I don't intend this to be an insult of any kind), haven't we been on ETC long enough that errors pretty much come with the territory?

I'm going with the idea that somebody hit the big shiny red button hidden on etc. You know, the one with multiple warning signs and flashing "Do not touch" posters around it.

Oh well in the end since ETC is back up and running, well almost that is.

Dont know if this is me or the site but ever since the weird problem that this thread is about whenever i click on a hyper link to someones trade thread it sends me back to home page unless i am infact on their trade thread. Thought i would mention that.

Alot of links got borked badly with the changes in the URLs again. Just have to wait until either someone fixes them or enough of the new style links are around to replace the old links.

Well the way I see it, its not so much that our URLs needs "fixing" per say, as it is that we've reverted back to a more logical & standard way of doing it. For example...

previous - http://forums.yugiohetc.com/topic/66992-priority-guide/

current - http://etcforums.net/index.php?showtopic=66992

The top example is the way that our topic URL's used to look most recently, and the bottom example is how they look now, how they've looked for the longest time, and how most forums are set up. Unless I'm mistaken & just happen to be using a bad example here, the topic's actual ID hasnt changed (in this case 66992), so we should still be able to find these links, even if all we've got to go off is the old URL. If its things like our own topics (trade lists, etc), we can get to them easily by clicking that "view member's topics" icon or whatever, but yeah.

- Just scroll over the seemingly broken link, right click, left click on "copy link location", and paste that somewhere.

- When you go to input the new link, paste the following text as your prefix "http://etcforums.net/index.php?showtopic=******", and then your topic's number in place of the stars.
