BIG INFORMATION POST

So, in case some of you haven't been reading the most recent thread I made in this forum, then click the URL above. Basically, I have made a bot for ETC's IRC Chatroom that can play mafia. We already have one for trivia and uno, and I have seen mafiabots elsewhere. So I figured that with the chat in dire need of activity, wouldn't this be the next logical step?

Remember, while the code has been written, it has not been completely tested and so it may still contain bugs. That is why I need your help. The previous thread has a log of our first successful game, but we need to test some more roles and more players. Regrettably, not enough of you are willing to just sit and idle in the chat until enough players arrive, so we should arrange a scheduled time where most of us will be on. Of course, you are all free to try the bot out yourselves if you can make a group of at least 5 people, but that hasn't happened yet.

For this event I will need to be around to correct any bugs that occur. But fortunately, my schedule isn't too busy, though it is subject to change quickly.

Currently, late afternoon and evenings (CDT) are my best bet. Therefore, the tentative date for the first group test will be:

Thursday, July 8th, 7:00 PM CDT
