There are some notable strengths that Garchomp still has, but the biggest key here is Axeface's lack of a double weakness, AKA Ice, the Achilles heel of most Dragons in the past. In a competitive scene that essentially makes his lower HP and Defense on par with most other Dragons.

Lum Berry
Rivalry
252 Atk // 252 Spe // 4 HP // Adamant
Dragon Dance
Outrage
Earthquake
X-Scissor
Yes I love the fact that ice is only x2 to him unlike a lot of other dragons. But unlike Garchomp he isn't resistant to Electric. It's all good with his very impressive attack. After one DDance he usually sweeps no problem.

Yes he does resist Electric, he's a dragon. I think you meant he's not immune to it.
Yeah, he either needs to go uber or we need to get Garchomp back as a check to him.

Idk I know nothing about the guys movepool or ability. But Garchomp was pretty versatile. I can see this becomng a major problem, maybe towards uber because that much attack without a negative is almost unheard of. But I don't know right now.
Wouldn't Jolly be a better nature? Sure boosting that beast attack is great, but it doesn't need the boost. And you want to outspeed base 100 Adamants.

Based on Raw power alone clearly Ax face has it. ALTHOUGH the Speed is what Garchomp has going for it. DD with Garchomp once and sweep. Same with this guy, though Chomp might have an edge of him still.
