Sorry Tsuna, but I can't take your opinion on the rep system seriously when you went and had Blitz give you +500 or so, which shows just how meaningless the number really is.

There is no way to "abuse" the system. You get a certain amount of pro/neg reps. You can use them however you want. If someone wants to waste them all on one person, they're allowed. The point is that they're unlikely to do so if they know that the other person does not care about imaginary rep on a yugioh forum.

Not sure I follow your analogy, so you might want to expand. But from what I understand, it's abuse of language to verbally attack someone? Because...it's not. Again, is it immature? Yes. If someone is verbally attacking someone for no reason, then it's immature and people are going to look down on that person. It's the same way here. If someone is constantly negging someone for NO reason, then that person will be viewed as a dumbass and will get plenty of negs in return. The difference is that when someone cares so much and complains so much about their negative rep, then people see that as a reason to neg rep more. Not saying it's a good thing, but it's still not abuse of the system.

I think you're saying that since it is allowed to do x neg reps you can do x neg reps, and so it is not "abuse."
I am saying that using those x neg reps for trolling is an abuse of the system, as even though you're not going beyond your quota, it's still not exactly what the system is intended for and is spiteful.

But yeah, immature is the same idea.

You just ignored the entire problem in the first place. The forum for the most part was not mature enough to use the system right back when it was taken away and they are proving to be just as immature now.

Welcome to the world. It's full of immature people. What do you do to deal with immature people in the real world? You ignore them. They're trying to annoy you, and you're letting them. We're not going to trash a system just because you guys don't want to learn to deal with difficult people. Again, if you ignore them and don't care that they neg bomb you....then they stop neg bombing you.

If you don't like the person negging you, then why do you even care that they're negging you? That's a big question

Personally I think crying about the system is abuse in and of itself. I'd feel abused if somebody was crying about me.

Tsuna, you need to understand that the more you continue to complain about this, the more people are going to do it. The whole reason people are even doing this to you is because you react and acknowledge it. Eventually they'll stop when they no longer get any reaction from you.

Doesn't that kinda defeat the purpose of the system? Tsuna is one of the main people that appleed at got it removed in the first place, are you really going to let him do it again after it just came back? I mean really now, he can take a bunch of negging before it matters much seeing as Blitz gave him the +500 rep...
