Yeah, Green Sun's Zenith has great potential across most format, I love it. If I do come back to standard for MBS though, it'll probably be for Infect. Inkmoth Nexus really gives me hope for the deck.

Alas, poor Yorick.

Great potential?

It's the only card that's really playable in multiple formats.

Being playable and having potential are essentially the same thing :|

And it doesn't just have a small edge over most other cards in the pack, it's much better. With a card like that, a deck is bound to come along that breaks it with a combo / finds a way to make it into a stable engine, like Extended did with Punishing Fire and now Valakut.

Alas, poor Yorick.

I don't keep up much with Extended / Standard atm, so idk.

If it ends up making that deck competitive, then cool.

Alas, poor Yorick.

Legacy then? I've never really seen any combo elves in Legacy, but I haven't looked in a while

NO Elves is a decently popular deck. The usual elves shenanigans plus Natural Order into Progenitus combo. Green Sun for 10G can grab a Prog and it's not hard to produce that.

Or you can be like me and do Sprout Swarm + Grapeshot Elves Shenanigans.
