I really don't want to start a flame war , so I will just say that Val becoming an admin is a huge benefit to ETC.

About me not being here : I am deeply sorry but there were reasons including certain things such as deep disrespect from other members on here, my own forum, and real life such as college.

I look forward to assisting you as a member that cares about dignity of this forum though!

Thanks for the props, Steve has since been future endeavored (ignore this if you don't watch wrestling), Star Wars only sucks when compared to Star Trek, and 5 years is probaly like 1/4th of your entire life.

Adjusting to that last one will probaly be the hardest to stomach, but I've got faith.

Well I knew Val from other places before ETC made him mod , but you are correct in the join date.

I never questioned your passion and desire to improve the site. It's an incredibly admirable trait of yours.

But you're not the first person that wanted to be the godsend person that brought this forum to new glory and entertainment (i.e. Achilles). You can tell yourself that I'm just being a hater or whatever, but you can ignore the truth for only so long. I'm rooting for your success. I just don't see it happening. At all.

As staff? Eh, anybody can really do what they do atm.

I mean, come on, scrolling up or down and pressing buttons isn't hard at all. Listening to people and addressing their situations isn't very hard either because half the time some of the complainers don't get it (whatever that may be) through their thick heads. People that try to act as if they care more by trying more is almost laughable considering it can be done by someone that doesn't give a plum. And it generally gets done either way.

The reason there's no reason to care is because we have absolutely nothing to strive for. We can try to come up with ideas that work in theory, but it's usually the members that make the plan fall through. Until we have something groundbreaking or interesting, there's no reason to try. You can say the only way to obtain something cool is to try, but after a million failed attempts, you tend to lose hope.

All in all, the members don't care and the Staff is boring. Nothing against Val, but you're just another filler admin.

minus the liking people and the hopelessness parts, I agree

if i could put it this way, i have hope for the forum itself, just not for most of the staff.


however, they get plum more often than they should, so praise goes to them for handling themselves better than the critics (i.e. bp) would in their situation.
