Hey guys,

spectre2300, a member of ETC and avid poster in the writing section, has recently published his own book. It's called "Another Eden: The Lost Paradise", and you can read more about it/buy it here - Another Eden - Publish America.

What's really exciting is that this book was first posted on ETC - Another Eden: The Lost Paradise. Dan Spectre is a hell of a writer and if you can support him by buying the book or spreading the word, then we'll be one step closer to having a new NYT Best-selling author!

Here's the description:

Quote

"The world had endured nearly a century of fighting that nearly
wiped out humanity. Centuries later,
humanity has recovered and new laws and regulations now
exist that seek to prevent the disaster
from ever returning.

In this world, where humanity has made incredible advances
in medicine and communications yet all firearms are
outlawed by a group known as The Wisemen's
Council. Legends also exist of a mysterious island
in The North Sea where the past way of
life before the disaster.

Brenin Diethelm was just like any other kid
starting high school in the 38th century. He hoped to find love and
dreamt of finding this lost island. When he met Lamia Libitina, he got much more
than even he could have hoped for. What started off as an
innocent relationship soon degenerated and turned Lamia into a crazed
tyrant bent on destroying Brenin and the Wisemen's Council and naming
herself ruler of the world.

After fleeing for some time and meeting the beautiful and
strong willed Katarina Gerhold, Brenin finally finds the love of
his life in Karin Baaning, who was the total opposite of
everything Lamia was and happens to be
from the lost island of legend. She loves brenin and
wishes to be his wife. However before Brenin and
Karin can be together, he must rid the world of the threat
posed by Lamia."

Again, the link is here: Another Eden - Publish America. Thanks guys!

Is the description from the undedited version? If not, I'd suggest having a different editor go over it than whoever did, possibly a professional one if one wasn't used, especially for future books. IIRC, many books have multiple editors go over them just because stuff gets missed when only one person does it.

Anyways, I'm intrigued, so I'll read the unedited version on ETC, and if I like it enough I'll stop reading it and go buy it.
