Maybe so (at least when compared to something cheaper_, but lets keep in mind that we're not "just" looking at a novel that we happen to be plugging. Instead, we're looking at a current piece of ETC's history, packaged in one of the most precious forms imaginable.

Very true. The price does suck. But for a first time author, I think it is best to take what I can get.

It'd probably be better to have him buy it, you pay him, and he mails it to you.

Just so you don't pay shipping for the book twice, assuming the book is semi-Heavy and comes with a somewhat substantial shipping charge.

actually the book is already bought and on it's way to spectre - I just sent Val a message - what I want to do is donate this signed copy to Yugioh ETC and I want you guys to do an online competition for who receives it. Then we can get spectre to send the signed copy to them.

I wanted to buy a copy to support not only this community but an obviously talented writer - now let's do what duelists do best - competition!

More like Dwayne and "Go away for awhile." and then make an epic return one day.

Congrats on the publishing. Really great to see. :)

That's actually a pretty good idea. It will get more people to look at the personal works section, which we could REALLY use. it's mainyl the same 4 people there.

EDIT: On the book's listing on B&N's web site, there is a link you can click to request it be converted into an E-book.

http://search.barnes...RI=another+eden

I am presuming that if enough people request it, then it will be converted for the Nook. Not so sure if it works the same way with Amazon and the Kindle.

Well, this isn't to say that I'm condoning Ominous' comment, but part of getting ahead involves having to deal with varying forms of criticism & hatoraid, even when it comes from the most illogical of bodies.

True, but a critic at least explains why they don't like something.

Did you have long scenes in paradise? Sorry I didn't get the book, I'm still learning to become a good writer (and I don't have a lot of spendable money). Still you are an inspiring example.
