On the 360 version it sucks ass when your game lags or takes longer to load outdoor areas...same issue with Gloves of Midnight.

Working on an Argonian stealth focused guy and a Nord blunt/MM warrior (where I'm actually power lvling so he has +5 Str/+5 End/+5 Agi every lvl)

I find it hard to use medium armor when the benefits of 100 skill Heavy Armor give you more protection and pretty much the same weight, I always end up switch late game to heavy armor even with Medium armor as a major skill.

Are you talking with regards to my Stealth guy? Usually I'm able to kill anybody with sneak bow attacks

And if you were talking about my Nord, he does use Heavy Armor. You may have been confused with MM, which is Marksman

yeah i confused MM with medium armor, but yeah stealth guy is a good option i just hate that can't wear shoes, unless I am thinking of Morrowind...

Well idk about Morrowind sneak, but in Oblivion the wait of your shoes does affect how well you can sneak (until you get Journeyman or Expert, then that gets negated)

Well in that final mission of the thieves guild you have to drop down that hole and assassins have low HP for that drop, unless you fortify health you can't wear those awesome shoes.

that drop wasn't even close to killing me. of course i didn't do it until i was around level 25 i don't power level though.

Theres a trick you can do by "Duping" a bed of arrows to break yout fall or something like that and keep the shoes.

Or you can just take the boots off before that fall so they aren't equipped when the script that breaks them activates

so i have been letting my 2 nephews play this game. one of them saved over my file that i was currently playing with 160 hours on it. i was pissed as grape
