My advice would be to lose to border, I just think it's not needed here, and work on the colors. Try blending the colors of the render with the background possibly and let it fade to blue. Just a thought.

I think I was going for the rough edges and the extreme brightness of the hues.
But I'll try it.

The sharp distortion around him gives him the appearance of going stealth like in LoL. I like it a lot, fit's the character and flows well.

I like the smudging effect on the left side of the sig.
It seems like some areas of the sig could use a bit more contrast.
