My boyfriend mentioned yesterday about maybe wanting an iPad / Nook (to jailbreak) and use as basically a tablet PC to putter around on and use for work. I've been looking up alternatives (like other tablet PCs) since even a refurbished 1st gen iPad is still like 400 dollars (and if you're going to drop that much on a 1st gen, that's just stupid). He wants it to be touchscreen, and I was looking at like the Google Android powered tablet as well, (taking into consideration that a lot of the reviews were it's not Apple therefore it sucks), and I'm wondering what would be best for him. He is very techie, and would probably like to configure it / change the OS / all that jazz, so whatever has a really good multi-touch function / decent calibration / whatever else would be welcome suggestions.
Also if you have an iPad with wifi hanging around that you'd want to sell off that works too. : D

Not really a ton, 163 + shipping isn't bad, and he's spent a lot more on me also.
