There's 2 primary things you will want to know about this game:
1. Some weapons are literally upgrades of other weapons (but only a select handful. Nothing too bad).
2. Expect Valve to push-in a cross-game promotion every month or so.
More on topic of this, I still play this game even after 3+ years as a Sniper. I think we still have that ETC group on Steam if anyone would want to just see if people are playing and want to hop in. Game's free-to-play now after all.
