Well, now that I have my computer back I decided to dabble with Photoshop CS2. I made this graphic for my band, I'm on the right. Just kinda messed around and used techniques I remember from back in the day/self exploration. The name of the band is Puck Xou, and yes I know what the logo looks like lol. If anyone can tell me, I'd really like to know how to enhance colors on stock shots, or make them stand out more.

One way you can enhance the stock photos is by using a white layer with a Brightness Layer Filter.

Awesome band name/logo :P. Good ways that I can say of working with colors are adjustment layers(It's the "moon" cookie looking thing in the bottom of your tray.) Try using gradient maps with different layer settings(Overlay, color dodge, multiply, etc.) with varying opacity and/or flow. You could try curve layers because they have red/blue/green and you can play around with those to see what happens. As for the work you posted, maybe try making it a little darker overall or try not to make you and the other guy too red so you guys can stick out more.
