Just curious, but what are your thoughts on Silverwind these days? Do we think he is still necessary?

Imo, he's still useful, as I'll have times where I'll play Shura, SS Gale, half a monster, run it over with Shura, then Synchro into Armor Master with a negated Vayu, then into an 8 Star. So I'll have Silverwind as a backup play in case of Dark Hole or w/e.

Is he necessary? Not really, but he's there for those backup plays. If I still ran double Vayu and double Armor Master, he'd prob see more play.

Cool. I was just curious. When I play BDubs, he is always in the Extra Deck. But I can literally only remember bringing him out once ever....

I've maybe only actually Synchro Summoned him once, back when multiple Kaluts were played. But if I do the Shura + Gale play, I have it available. I don't drop it every tournament date I play, but usually every week he hits the board.

Well, at least you're getting some use of him; he's lazy in my Extra Deck just sitting there all like "I could, but neh." LOL

Haha, I hear you. That's kinda how Roach and Utopia are for me.

I never make Roach....Utopia is made a few times. And I mean in any deck, lol.

I only make Roach if I'm in a tight scenario, and I'm expecting a huge threat like Chaos Sorc, BLS, Hyperion, DAD, JD, or high-level Synchro.
But usually I have enough monster control on the board to where he's not needed.
