So along with making a little bit of an effort to show our work, how would you guys feel about merging the main section with the showcase? Like, what we had now made sense back when this place was hella active, but now that it's not, I can't help but think that having finished & ongoing work in the main section would be more inviting, especially since all of them are discussion topics in their own right.
I'm honestly not expecting a lot of replies about this, but I figured it couldn't hurt to ask in here in case there's any sleepers who'd have an issue with it.

At this point, nothing can really hurt this section anymore than it is already hurting.
I say might as well try it, not much to lose. =/

So yeah, what I basically did was move the general discussion topics into our Tutorial section (which pretty much had nothing in the main bank before) and then put the showcase & ongoing work topics into the main section. It's not really a big change, but at least this way people only need to click it once for a list of artwork topics.
I should have more time this week to actually contribute to this & some other things that've been on my plate for a while, but how would you guys feel about changing the title from Graphics to Visual Art? Again, I know it's not a big deal or anything, but it would open the section up to a couple of different mediums that haven't exactly had a place to go, at least in terms of what people might think by reading the main page. Like, I've got a good amount of photography that I could rehash (I haven't posted very much on the forum so it's sort of like new hah), as well as a couple of wireframe sculptures, and I know a couple of people who're in the same boat as well.

If you think it'll bring more traffic into the section. then sure go for it.

I agree with Trin. In this day and age, there are now more sections than there are active users in this once prosperous section of the forum I am afraid. I have much respect for the few artists here who are still around.
