ban:

wind-up hunter
monster reborn
black luster soldier
trap dustshoot
leviair the sea dragon
pot of avarice
lonefire blossom

limit:

inzekter hornet
royal oppression
goyo guardian
dark magician of chaos
tribe-infecting virus
gladiator beast gyzarus
archlord kristya
tsukuyomi
royal tribute
rescue rabbit
red-eyes darkness metal dragon
judgment dragon

semi:

grapha, beast raspberry of dark world
caius the shadow monarch
solemn judgment
master hyperion
substitoad

unlimit:

book of moon
solemn warning
bottomless trap hole

this is far and away beyond what konami will do, but this is probably all that needs to be done to make the game managable.

ban:

wind-up hunter - Sure
monster reborn - I don't really feel that it's that bad. Am I really in the minority?
black luster soldier - Sure
trap dustshoot - Conflicted about this
leviair the sea dragon - I love this, but it will never happen
pot of avarice - Sure
lonefire blosso - Sure

limit:

inzekter hornet - Sure
royal oppression - Sure
goyo guardian - I'm not too keen on this
dark magician of chaos - Eh, though I'm sure someone will break it again.
tribe-infecting virus - Won't really matter
gladiator beast gyzarus - No, GBs are weak enough.
archlord kristya - Sure
tsukuyomi - Ninja staple
royal tribute - Sure
rescue rabbit - It can be at 2 or 3, Leviair is what breaks it.
red-eyes darkness metal dragon - Preemptive, Dragons will probably rape if he stays untouched
judgment dragon - Sure

semi:

grapha, beast raspberry of dark world - Sure
caius the shadow monarch - Really? I don't see it
solemn judgment - Sure
master hyperion - Sure

unlimit:

book of moon - Every deck will have a PhD or at least a Masters
solemn warning - IDRC
bottomless trap hole - Sure

this is far and away beyond what konami will do, but this is probably all that needs to be done to make the game managable.
They'll never touch this many cards at once.

trap dust - i just don't like any card that wins you the game if it's in your opening hand 85% of the time.

goyo - i really don't see this card being as significant as it was.

gyzarus - glads are weak NOW. not if EVERY other deck is hit. they would destroy the meta in this format without losing something. gyza at 1 isn't really even that bad because it can tag.

rabbit - leviair isn't what breaks this. opening with it every game is what breaks it imo. even without leviair, this would be so nutty at 3.

caius - just so frog monarchs lose SOMETHING since they're gaining 2 substitoad.

You're probably right.

Honestly, I'm for banning Warning and putting J to 3.

Yeah I know, Sealed format and such so no list enforcement, but I just want everyone to notice DMOC and Witch.

Again, not implying anything, but I could see Sangan getting banned (something everyone wants) and the Witch comes off the list to take its place (as generic searcher). This isnt about replacing cards, but moreso, keeping certain effects in the meta. DMOC could come off if Monster Reborn gets banned, which is really its only good target outside of Heavy Storm with the current list.

Tewart is a troll like that. Just my thoughts, though.

Maximum Charles,
Love your list for the sole reason of Tsukuyomi and Book of Moon to 3.
Empty Jar would be amazing. Wouldn't that deck run rampant with these two changes alone? I know going second would hurt it I suppose given the opponent has the cards to stop it from going, but still.

Bring back Cyber Jar. How I miss thee.

Yeah, I guess it would beat you if your opponent opened Morphing Jar and you don't open/draw Veiler.

Aside from Charlie putting BoM at 3, I feel like Karakuri would be quite troublesome with these lists because it remains untouched. If you're even going to hit GBs, you might want to hit them too. Possibly by putting Burei at 1 or Ninishi at 2 (1 would kill the deck)

no karakuris have never been a problem deck, are not a good deck atm, and will never be a problem deck.

it was a GOOD deck pre photon because it could put more floaters on the board than plant and have bigger monsters sitting behind a maxx c. the dino/dw/agent/inzektor/wind-up matchups are all awful though.

notice that dino wasn't out yet when karakuri was good, dw "sucked", agent was given up on for plant, and the rest came in order of chaos.

as for charlies list, i dont know if it is "what will happen" or "what should happen", but konami definitely doesnt care to ban so many cards and ruin their profits, or hit rando cards like jd or gyzarus. book warning and bth will never all be unlimited at the same time, and i would rather not have frogs be the best deck (because it would be). if it was a what should happen list, then it makes no sense remotely.

thoughts duelists
etc's trading section sucks but i trade on this other forum that doesn't suck and you can use money so go there and trade with me

Im kinda wondering why hit JD to 1. It going to 3 did not make the deck better. I would rather have 2 JD again and put charge to 2. Although I do miss 2 Honest :P

No way they are hitting Red-Eyes. Dragons don't do a thing in Japan.

Who cares about regionals?

And yeah, I can admit I was totally mistaken on fiendish. I was still in the plant mindset when I said that.
