Would be nice to stop Caius/Sorc/BLS bullplum too.

Also want that Darksoul OCG ruling to come over asap.

1 thing wrong with this post and 1 thing questionable.

Caius would not change of the "priority" ruling went into effect in the TCG, as its effect activates on successful summon. It wouldnt be stopped by BTH and the like.

Also I thought that the ruling for Darksoul was already in effect with the new text bring brought over on the reprint we got.

Yeah. Our priority rule only protects stuff with ignition effects like Rabbit.

Which is why Book doesn't work on it. Because the chain goes backward and it gets sent off before it would flip. If you took away the priority you could flip it down to stop the effect.

Caius is the opposite.

OCG Darksoul ruling is in effect. (The judges assume we know it is by the text change, therefore, no official statement was made)

No priority on ignitions effects takes care of BLS as well.

why on earth would you be using doom dozer lol

i mean anything besides a stardust which isnt very relevant, you can just pop with the inzektors.

First of all, never, ever condescend to me for any reason.

Secondly, what reason could you propose not to run him? He's a +0 2800 drop that makes Tour Guide plays nuttier, manages dark counts for Dad, and will ALWAYS generate you neutral or better card advantage. You lose no static advantage whatsoever summoning him and actually GAIN dynamic advantage depending on the other cards in your hand. And before you argue that "he's a dead draw" in x situation, I'll inform you (since, to make such a statement you'd have to have never used inzektors) that IF he would be a dead draw, there's no card you could be running instead of him that isn't already in the deck that could POSSIBLY create a better game state for you, save only Painful Choice. If you don't have a couple of Bugs in your grave, your losing. And bad. Not to mention, the pure version has several spaces in the decklist open to 'tech' choices, and Dozer has a lot more utility than something like Lair Wire, which I've seen gain an odd popularity.

Stop saying this, please.

Turn player priority isn't and never will go anywherre. We arent losing "priority", the things we can spend our priority (in response to the successful normal or special summon of a monster) are changing. We are losing the ability to activate ignition effects immediately following a summon -with- our priority, not the priority itself.

For instance, if I normal summon a sangan, I, as turn player, will still retain priority to activate torrential tribute (assuming the summon is not negated) before you can do anything.

But in all serious this deck has no need for random cards like Doom Dozer. Think of it like this:

1. You have the win condition. Inzektors create mad advantage and will require skill to beat. If you resolve the effect of an Inzektor monster you will almost always win the duel.

2. Doom Dozer isn't live until you have 2 Insects in the graveyard meaning you have already used a Dragonfly and a Centipede (unless you're bad and banish your only Hornet). Pretty sure if I got the +4 combo off a 2800 vanilla is meaningless especially since I can do it again next turn.

3. As I said previously, nothing is going make Doom Dozer better than a Dragonfly drop. So, you would be better off running things like Mystic Tomato or Dark Eruption. Doom Dozer isn't any "high utility" card because you have to have already won the duel to play it.

Liar Wire seems awful lol.

The quotation marks were there for a reason, lol. We should still coincide with OCG. If Worlds was any indication.

So is there any proof that the OCG Darksoul rulings are in effect? I tried telling a Saber player he could only get one search and he informed me it was a OCG only ruling still and the wikia isn't really helpful.
