What other ccg's (if any) have you played, and how would you compare them to Yugioh?

Magic the Gathering a decade ago. Even back then, alot tougher then YuGiOh to comprehend and play at a high level. Was fun and a good game, but I never had any cardspersonally owned so once I weren't friends with the people who did have them, I stopped playing.

I still play MTG during family get togethers, I used to play Duel Masters which was really weird after playing YGO and MTG so long.

Duel Masters was...too easy, and MTG was really really big. So I played those for a bit, before I decided to just stick with YGO

No denying it was fun though.

MTG. Made me a better Yu-Gi-Oh! player. Taught me to look at any game I was playing in a more complete way. Unfortunately the game couldn't keep a hold on my attention because of Yug and Halo tournaments.

Dragonball Z. Just terrible in my experience. Too convoluted, and with the lack of a "scene" in my area, it was just easy to put away.

Avatar. It was fun for the 2 weeks I played just for the newness. Then no one else started, leaving the 4-6 of who tried to start to lose interest very quickly.

Pokemon. Just nothing there for me to like. My brother loved(s) it, but we just spent our TCG time spent playing Yug.

VS. Enjoyed the concept at the start. Comic book heroes that I can sleeve up and shuffle! Awesome! Oh, look at the kitty.....

So, I just write it off as somethings grab certain peoples attention while others could care less.

I don't always say "ETC", but when I do, I'm usually referring to this forum. 'Sup?

Pokemon, Digimon, MTG, and Score's DBZ/GT game, the latter of which I enjoyed for years & would argue that it holds up to Yugioh any day. It just fell victim to a power creep & basically died out as a result.

Guess I've technically tried Heroscape, Duel Masters, Animayhem (sp?) & Score's failed DBZ reboot as well, but my recollection of those is barely enough to even comment on.

Pokemon during the craze, and a bit of the newer stuff about a year ago.
M:tG here and there, especially Drafts
Duel Masters, but only a bit.
