Nope.jpg

I usually come back from every YCS I go to with ~250 bucks more than I came with. Now, that's not a huge profit by any means, but you have to consider

That's after my share of gas (~30)
That's after my share of room (~20)
Thats after my alcohol (~50+)
That's after my food (~80[we always eat nice])
That's after my entry fee (20)
That's after whatever I wanted to get that day as a souvenir (~10)

So that's basically 460 dollars I make at every event turning my cards around, and that's while I'm playing. If I went strictly to vend, I'd make substantially more.

Sadly, I have a very active work and social life, and I haven't been to any YCS level event in aeons.

I honestly don't know how true or not true that is. I haven't been to a shop or event in a while. I still every once in a while will add to my binder by buying singles. But I have no idea how valuable my collection is ATM. Maybe one day I'll show up at a shop just to see.

i made some money this format i bought maxx c's when they where 8 a pop so i was able to make a little cash. You can make money its just do you wanna get rid of your only set. Example i have only 1 set of RT i know someone who is willing to pay double what they wroth but i know if i sell they then the chances of me getting another set is very low since everyone has only 1 set here an no extras

Quadruple post, haven't seen those in a while.

But on topic, It has been a while since I have been able to make it to ANY event, let alone turn a profit from my rares. I don't even have a binder anymore and my rares are mixed in with my brothers.
