So ETC, what decks do you run out of pure nostalgia?

Personally, I use a Strike Ninja deck and an A Legendary Ocean control.

Oh Stealth Bird and Wave Motion. The meta is way to fast for decks like that to roll anymore.

I am bouncing ideas around my head for a Dark Scorpion deck or god forbid something with Guardian Tryce.

I mean, I could probably get away with using Tryce with Gilford the Legend and Gearfried the Swordmaster.

That also reminds me that the first deck I ever played was a Umi deck with Legendary Fisherman and Suijin.

Law of the Normal/Level 1 OTK.

It was the second decktype I have ever run, and it is the only decktype I will always be guaranteed to want to run. Not competitively, though.

A deck I always wanted to play just to have some fun, but never actually got around to building it.

King of Skull Servent. Never was a relevant deck. But isn't good nowadays, so I consider it nostalgic. :)

Macro, back when there wasn't 3 MST + Storm and Leviair/the xyz mechanic in general making it moot was good. I play it now just out of nostalgia from time to time, but the decktype is dead.

Infernity when we still had 3 Launcher and no Maxx C.

What's Tundo OTK anyway?

I believe a combo with:
Wall of Revealing Light
Life Equalizer
Blasting the Ruins.

Very old school deck back when we had multiple giant trunades. It's named after Tundo, the guy who created it. It drew through the deck with the Convulsion + Oath combo, along with triple Library and general draw/thinning like Upstart and Table of Contents. Then it just finished the game with Equalizer and Ruins. Deck was a ton of fun and considering it was a FTK deck, it took a decent amount of skill to play. One of the most consistent FTK's in yugioh, but it only lasted a little bit before the banlist hit it.

I do it all the time with:
relinquished (relinquished gadgets with scrubbed raid, relinquished with giant wingbeat of the giant dragon for a plus 2+)

I made recently these and mixed them with chaos:
a zorc build (with rescue rabbit and chaos plus lightning golem (rabbit)for easy steelswarn roaches)
injection fairy lilly (otk without double attack)
Yamata Dragon decks
Horus deck (pretty good havent tested it)
Evil hero Maclious Fiend build

Not to mention apprentice and featherizer builds.

I could try reviving my sacred phoenix concept idea again but it is a lot of work to even win with a deck with that card but I did get to the point that I regularly won a decent amount of games and lost a few games. Eventually I got bored of toying with the idea.

FTK never seems fun to me. Especially when I'm on the receiving end.

Glads, Lightsworn, Tele-DAD, Gigavise.

Gigaplant Plants was my first deck and I won my first local with it. I was really bad back then and liked Plants before I decided to put them down after Lonefire went to 2. With 3 Lonefire, 3 Gigaplant, 3 Mark of the Rose, 2 Card of Safe Return, it was honestly a decent deck and if Solemn Judgment wasn't @ 3 and D.D. Crow wasn't popular, I think I would have actually topped UDE Day with it. I started 4-0 then lost 4 in a row to TeleDAD/LS.

Playing Lightsworn now reminds me of why it sucks but is so close to actually being really grapeing dumb. If you could just start with 4 names in the graveyard it would be Tier 1. I used to really like LS (before and after charge went to 1) and topped my first regionals with it.

GB and Tele-DAD should be nostalgias for anyone.
etc's trading section sucks but i trade on this other forum that doesn't suck and you can use money so go there and trade with me

Reminds of the Reversal Quiz OTK that was short lived. Fundamentally, its quite similar to the Tundo Life Equalizer OTK, lowering your own life points for a win condition. Only it involved Fuhma Shurikens and Black Pendants.
Let them eat their damn cake.
