So I've been seeing the younger brother of Crush Card Virus being tech'd and sided in quite a few decks now. Now obviously is a good time to run it, as it helps preemptively stop Tour Guides, Sangan, Debris, Rabbit and many XYZ and Synchro creating woes and with Pot of Avarice at 1, it won't pose much of a threat anymore. I suppose the bigger question is this: which decks can most effectively utilize it and is it best sided or mained?

But DDV is preferred moreso in the Turbo build than the standard. Only about DDV that I don't like about it is just how random the cards you can hit will be. Obv it's good against Inzektors, Wind Ups, Plants, and Rabbit, but you don't always know when your opponent will have a low ATK monster hand. And if you don't hit at least two monsters off the bat with it, you're practically minusing yourself.
I like it in Dark World most of all. Reaper cockblocks that deck and the deck has limited destruction capabilities. Not to mention the deck runs Mind Crush which equals more shenanigans.

with 2 ddv and 3 dragged down you can chip away at your opponent's resources, learn what they have so you can prepare for it, and mind crush anything you can't handle
i used to tech 1 in gravekeepers too back before commandant was a thing but i think i'd rather just play the 2 royal tributes on their own, gravekeepers don't stay on the field very long as-is so i feel like ddv is counter-intuitive the way the deck is played currently

I can see myself trying a Dragon Control deck with 3 DDV 3 Interplanet and whatever else is good for Dragon.
