I have recently had an interesting thought, and I had to get the opinions of peers, just to see how they would respond. If anyone has also had this thought, feel free to add to the debate, and if there has been a similar post, I apologize for the inconvenience.

So, here's the situation:

The Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles VS. Kung Fu Panda's the Furious Five. WHO WOULD WIN?

Any opinions at all would be appreciated, and thanks for the input.

I did consider the masters of the masters (Shifu/Splinter), but the way I see it, that's a whole other discussion, as is my other consideration, the villains (Shredder/Tai Lung/Lord Shen/etc.). However, I will be generous and allow the short-lived Venus de Milo character (from Ninja Turtles: the Next Mutation), ONLY in the interest of making it a fair, balanced 5-on-5 fight.

In short, here is the proposed roster for each side:

TMNT
Leonardo
Michelangelo
Donatello
Raphael
Venus de Milo (optional)

Furious 5
Tigress
Monkey
Crane
Mantis
Viper

No particular pair-ups or circumstantial situations. Just a regular, all-out action/fantasy brawl. Just a little something to get the nerdy discussion juices flowing.

Thanks for the input!

Sorry lightning sword but I do not get the appeal of that panda at all. He looks pretty kiddy in photographs.

If kung fu panda comes from china he can probably kick the ninja turtles' ass. But real martial artists can probably be rare like authentic customs and traditions. The exception kind of is china. It is a art form and supposedly it is not easy to master. It can be recognized and there is competition. We have no idea of how worthy any of them are not even the sensei rat. I used to love watching ninja turtles though and grew up with the cartoons. I will say that the original creator probably wanted to create something that could beat mutated beats with personalities. So I am going to add that they have the look of animals but don't act like animals at all! So by saying this your regular crime thug is not a martial arts expert except for shredder. It takes a gang of them to take him down. While the kung fu panda guy well you know the rest.

the furious 5 would ace the ninja turtles

they trained under one of the greatest kung-fu masters in history. master shifu is a beast.

po even solo'd tai lung. the rest did pretty well when they 4v1'd him though.

their agility can't be matched by the turtles. i think the 2nd movie really shows this when they are fighting in shen's palace and it's falling and plum.

LoL, Canti, why is it that only the ones who never liked her say that?

I think we're all forgetting about TMNT shells. Let's be honest on this one... They ain't afraid to hide when need be.

LoL, almost forgot about the MMPR. But that's an entirely different discussion, one that I might just bring up.

Truth indeed. Not to mention that the Furious Five (with the exception of Monkey) don't use weapons. We'd best incorporate that into the equation . . . .

Well, I'll leave that up for further debate. Any other opinions would greatly be appreciated.

Wow, another scenario worthy of debate. I'm beginning to realize that I didn't really think this through . . .
