Was this a recent ruling reversal!? BTW, guy in video is a certified Judge.

Im curious because I have heard NOTHING relating to this, so Im assuming its very recent. Wouldnt this mean there is very little (if anything) that can stop first turn Genex Neutron from getting its effect?

Makes sense, and as far as I can tell, the priority dance that he's talking about has always been like that. The key point here is that Genex Neutron's effect is optional. As such, the Turn Player doesn't need to activate it during the end phase (this becomes important), and as the dude in the video was saying, can basicially keep passing priority back to the Defending Player because of it.

However, since finishing off the Effect Veiler negation is mandatory, the turn can't be completed without doing it, meaning that the Defending Player will end up being the one forced to do it after a single dance of consecutives passes has been done.

Why haven't you heard about this? My guess would be that it has to do with a combination optional end phase effects being kinda rare (the lightsworn stuff used to come up a lot, but since they're mandatory, the turn player will be forced into doing them before the defending player is forced to end their Chalice/Veiler negation), and of course that the game mechanics as they relate to this sort of thing in general aren't discussed very much to begin with.

Thanks for explaining it to me, yeah...I knew there was a logical reason for it being that why, just havent heard it before.
