if mst is chained to ninjutsu art of super transformation, are the targets still sent to the graveyard?
Target 1 face-up "Ninja" monster you control and 1 face-up monster your opponent controls; send them to the Graveyard, then Special Summon 1 Dragon, Dinosaur, or Sea Serpent-Type monster with an equal or lower Level than the sent monsters' combined Levels from your Deck to your side of the field. If this card leaves the field, banish that monster.

If you're wondering why nothing is sent to the Graveyard if Mystical Space Typhoon is chained, that's because as a continous spell/trap card (this is also true for field & equip cards), the card itself (in this case Ninjitsu Art of Super Transformation) needs to remain face-up on the field during its own resolution in order to apply its effects.
Now, it would be different if sending stuff to the Graveyard was a cost, but since its part of its effect, the card needs to remain face-up in order to do it.
