So basicially, have any of us aranged a backup wife/husband (someone that we agree to marry or whatever if both of you are still single by/at a certain time), be it truthfully or just as a joke? Also if wehave, what sort of conditions have we set up for it?

Not quite on topic but my gf and I jokingly talked about what should happen if one of us dies before the other. I suggested she date a friend of ours, probably the most genuine guy I've ever met in my life.

...As for me, Allison Brie/Annie of Community but I haven't said that yet. But my gf knows I have the hots for her (blue eyes, brunette hair, just like my gf, go figure) :p

I did propose to a girl if she would be my backup wife. Told me it's the sweetest thing she'd ever heard. But now she's married and I'm in a relationship. So, no, I don't have a backup wife.

Technically, a few years back me and my friend Angela had made a deal like this, it was in a joking manner however. She currently has a kid, and im currently in a relationship with the best woman i've ever met, so no need for the backup plan.
