DARK

Fiend

LV8

3000 ATK

2000 DEF

You can Normal Summon this card without Tributing, but its original ATK and DEF are halved. If you do, during the End Phase: Destroy it. You cannot Special Summon monsters other than Fiend-Type monsters. Once per turn: You can banish 1 "Archfiend" card from your hand or Graveyard to target 1 card on the field; destroy that target.

SO Archfiends are seeing the light of day.  Okay effect, and I'm thinking that this might lead to more Archfiend support cards.  Not the greatest card ever, but there's Skill Drain shenanigans anyway at least.

Archfiend support!

Falling Down gets even better and you could even run some Trade-Ins with another eight along side Archfiend Roar though that might be a little too gimmicky. Shame most of the Archfiends suck ass.

It's a step up, so I'm hoping that we get some more Archfiend support in the set...

This, just on the thought that maybe there is more to follow.

The good thing is it doesn' take much effort to setup, but it's very specific in that it needs an archfiend. There are skill drain sheninigans.  The mechanics, from hand or grave make it great for archfiends, but it can't be searched or splashed.

Its more for Skill Drain than for use in a legit Archfiend deck. Free normal summoned 3k ass kicker? Hell mothegrapeing yeah.

You could play pretty legit Skill Drain beatdown with Trade-Ins as draw power. I love Trade-Ins personally. Everything that can run Trade-In is always great in my books.

Hmm I wonder if he works with Forbidden Chalice and Dress. If so there's something to work with, but he'll still have to face competition with Barbaros and Fusilier Dragon.

Let them eat their damn cake.

He should still function under Chalice, since he'll have forgotten he was normal summoned methinks.  I don't know about Dress though.

Why would anyone use Tytannial in Skill Drain Beat? And I thought most players refered to her as big booty bitch

Still can Trib her off for her own effect. Bypasses Skill Drain so you can negate something trying to target a monster on your field.

Dat ass is still good for more than eye candy.

Tytannial was in the Phoenyxian Drain deck that topped a while ago. I think the thought process is she can Trib herself under Skill Drain to protect a card and she is still a 2800 body. And she is what she is when Drain isn't up.
